Obituary 23 January 1969 (newspaper not identified):
Mrs. Ruby Brush Tofflemire, 71, of Colchester Village died Monday at Metropolitan Hospital. Mrs. Tofflemire was born in Colchester South and lived there all her life. Her husband, Alanson, died in 1967. A daughter, Ruth, died in 1968. She is survived by sons John of Colchester South, Leslie of Windsor, and Robert, stationed at Dartmouth, N.S. with the RCMP; daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Margery) Stroud of Colchester South and Beulah, at home; brothers, Charles and Ralph Brush of Colchester South, Carl of Detroit and Harold of Windsor; sisters, Mrs. Norma Brownlee of Windsor and Mrs. Robert (Edna) Ross of Windsor. Funeral will be this Thursday at 2:30 p.m. from the J.H. Madill Funeral Home, Harrow, with Rev. Arnold Dallimore officiating. Burial will be in Iler Cemetery.
