Brush - Drowned at Colchester, on Sunday, February 16th, 1913, Forrest, son of Mr. and Mrs. Angus Brush, in the 11th year of his age.

A Tribute to An Aged Mother and Grandmother.
Last Saturday, November 17th, Colchester Village lost one of her most loved and esteemed citizens in the person of Mrs. Georgeanna Brush. Mrs. Brush has been an invalid in a Windsor hospital for over two years. She was in her 81st year and had spent nearly all of her life in the village of Colchester...She lost her husband, Angus Brush in the year 1923 and since his passing she has the responsibility of raising her large family of six daughters and four sons...Funeral services were held for her in the J.H.Madill Funeral Chapel, Harrow on Monday, November 19th...The funeral services were conducted by Rev. R.S. Skinner...She has left to mourn her passing five daughters and three sons, namely, Mrs. G. Grovier (Margaret) of Dearborn, Mich., Mrs. Alanson Tofflemire (Ruby) of Harrow, Mrs. R. Harder (Mabel), of H? Mich., Mrs. A. Taylor (Edna) of Windsor, Mrs. E. Brownley (Norma) of Windsor, Chas. A. of Colchester and Carl of Detroit. One daughter, Mrs. E. Wilson (Lila) and one son, Forrest predeceased her. Twenty-seven grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren also survive. Interment was in Erie Cemetery and the pallbearers were six grandsons, John Tofflemire, Leslie Tofflemire, Clark Taylor, Jerome Taylor, Don Wilson and Reginald Wilson.
