McCormick - In Colchester South, the oldest resident of this township died Tuesday morning, March 26th, 1901 in the person of Mrs. Alexander McCormick aged 97 years, 3 months and 2 days... Her maiden name was Mary Lidwell and she was a daughter of the late Thomas Lidwell... In 1821 or thereabouts she was united in marriage to Alexander McCormick, who predeceased her some 29 years ago. To them were born eleven children: ... William, died in British Columbia, 22 years ago...
