Brantford Weekly Expositor, 23 Sept 1886:
Wedding - On the afternoon of Monday Sept. 13, Mr. Kerby, of the C.P.R. assistant superintendent's office, Winnipeg, and Miss Osborne were married by Rev. D. M. Gordon, at the residence of the bride's father. Only a few friends were invited. The groom was assisted on the occasion by Mr. Harry Corran, and Miss Hossie acted as bridesmaid. The happy couple have the hearty good wishes of friends. - Daily Manitoban. - The bride is well known to many in Brantford, who will wish her a long life of wedded joy. The Miss Hossie referred to is the daughter of Mr. W. N. Hossie, of this city.
