Ridgetown Dominion, 14 November 1929:
The marriage of Miss Grace Agnes Coates, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Coates, of Dutton, to Mr. Angus B. Flecher, youngest son of Mrs. John B. Fletcher and the late Mr. Fletcher, of Appin, was solemnized Monday afernoon, at four o'clock, in the manse of the First Presbyterian Church, Walkerville, the Rev. D. N. Merdan officiating. The bride was dressed in dark brown satin crepe and her corsage was of sweetheart roses and lilies of the valley. Mr. and Mrs. C. Young, of Lincoln road, entertained dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher that evening.
