Tuesday, October 26 is the sixty-seventh wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Alex McTavish. On Sunday a family reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. McTavish to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Harold McIndoo of Puce, Mr. and Mrs. William Boyd and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wiseman both of Windsor, Mr. and Mrs. Earl McTavish of Chatham, Mr. Donald McTavish, Dawn Ann and George of Blenheim and Mr. and Mrs. James McTavish.

Chatham Daily News, 26 December 1972:
Alex McTavish ... of Howard Township died suddenly at his residence on Saturday in his 95th year.
Born in Howard Township he was a son of the late Archibald McTavish and Mary Cornwall. He was a member of Howard Road Botany United Church.
His wife, the former Bertha Handy died Dec. 5 of this year. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Evelyn) McIndoo, Mrs. William (Jean) Boyd and Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Wiseman all of Windsor; three sons, James of Howard Township, Earl of Chatham and Donald of Blenhiem; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Resting at the McKinley-McKellar Funeral Home in Ridgetown with funeral being held this afternoon, conducted by Rev. S. E. Stevenson of Highgate.
Burial will be in Botany Cemetery, Howard Township.
