It took three months to cross at that time and the young folks friendship culminated in their marriage when they reached Vermont. While residing there his father, Henry A. Bower was born and the family moved to Montreal and later to Thamesville, Ontario, Canada, where Henry met and married Anna McDonald, and John was born...
