Chas. Brisley Succumbs to Tetanus Attack - Cedar Springs Youth Scratched His Leg on a Nail
Thamesville, July 31 - Charles Brisley, 17 years of age, and youngest son of William Brisley, of Cedar Springs, who has been in the employ of J. & N. Roe, of Howard Township, died last evening from tetanus. On July 15 while working in the barn, he fell cutting his knee. Tetanus developed, and although slight hope of recovery was entertained, until the latter part of the week his condition gradually became worse, until he passed away on Sunday evening.
