Blenhiem, Oct 17 - Cedar Springs Farmer Passes:
Seriously ill for the past three weeks William Charles Stephen Brisley of Cedar Springs passed away in the Public General Hospital, Chatham, on Thursday.
Born in England deceased with his parents the late Stephen A. Brisley and Mary Ann Harmsworth landed in New York 73 years ago and later settled near Thamesville.
Mr. Brisley was twice married, his first wife the former Lilly Higgins predeceasing him in 1906.
Surviving are his wife the former Myrtle Campbell, one daughter Mrs. Cyril Little of Blenheim, three sons William George of Detroit, Stanley Walter of Windsor and Reginald James at home, one sister Mrs. William Cudmore, Windsor and two brothers George and James Brisley of Botany.
Mr. Brisley farmed near Cedar Springs and was a member of St. Luke's United Church.
The remains are resting at Needham's funeral home and last rites are to be conducted from there at two o'clock on Saturday with Rev. H. F. Ball officiating.
Interment will be made in Union Cemetery in Pardoville.

Deaths - Brisley: At the Public General Hospital, Thursday, October 26, 1944, Wm. Charles S. Brisley, in his 81st year; beloved husband of Mrs. Myrtle (Campbell) Brisley; dear father of Mrs. Cyril Lyttle, Blenheim; Wm. George, Detroit; Stanley Walter, Windsor; Reginald James, at home; kind brother of Mrs. Wm. Cudmore, Windsor; George and James, Botany. The remains are resting at the Needham Funeral Home, Blenheim, where funeral services will be conducted Saturday at two p.m. Interment in Pardoville Cemetery.
