Mrs. Daugherty Dies Suddenly
Thamesville, May 24 - Death claimed a life long resident of this village in the passing of Mrs. Nellie Daugherty, wife of John Daugherty, Lemuel St.
Mrs Daugherty has been far from well for many months but on Friday was up and about her household duties as usual. During the day she suffered a heart attack and passed away early Saturday morning. Mrs. Daugherty was born in Michigan and came to the village when but a child. In 1891 she was married to John Daugherty and they have lived in the village continuously.
Mrs. Daugherty was a member of St. James' Presbyterian Church and also a charter member of the local chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star which she was instrumental in organizing. She made a great number of friends during her lifetime by whom shel will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Albert Hughson of Thamesville.
Funeral services will be conducted at her late home on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 by Rev. G. S. Baulch.
Interment will be made in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
