MRS. W. SIMINGTON PASSED AWAY ON MONDAY EVENING - Wife of Well-Known C.P.R. Conductor Had Been Ill for Past Year - A resident of the city for the past 38 years and wife of William Simington, well-known retired C.P.R. conductor, Mrs. Mabel G. H. Simington died Monday evening at her home, 42 Athabasca Street West, at the age of 56 years. Mrs. Simington had been ill for the past year.
Born and educated in England, she came to Canada and was married in Moose Jaw in 1905 to Mr. Simington, whose long service with the C.P.R. was recognized when he was chosen as conductor on the royal train, responsible fo the safety of Their Majesties King George and Queen Elizabeth between Moose Jaw and Swift Current. Since her marriage, Mrs. Simington had been a resident of this city, well known and respected by a great many friends and associates. She was a devout member of the Anglican Church.
The deceased is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. T. Turner; and a son, Frank, all of this city; two sisters, Mrs. B. Hare, also in Moose Jaw; Mrs. Annie Gould of Vancouver; and three brothers, Fred Gould, of Vancouver; William Gould, in Alberta; and Gordon Gould, in North Dakota.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Bellamy's funeral home with Archdeacon W. C. Western, of St. John's Anglican Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. W. Simington Buried Wednesday - Last rites for Mrs. Mabel G. H. Simington, well known resident of Moose Jaw, and wife of retired conductor of the C.P.R, William Simington, were observed Wednesday afternoon from Bellamy's funeral home with Archdeacon W. C. Western officiating. Interment was made in Rosedale Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Wm. Fennell, Cliff Henderson, W. Hembroff, F. W. Dunn, Chas. Grieves and R. Baird. Mrs. Simington died Monday evening at her home, 42 Athabasca Street West, at the age of 56 years. She had been ill for the past year.
The deceased, born and educated in England, came to Canada and was united in marriage at Moose Jaw in 1905 to Mr. Simington. Since that time she had been a resident of this city.
