McDonald - Cowan: A quiet wedding was solemnized by Rev. Joseph McDermott in Marsh Street Baptist Church Saturday morning when Miss Hazel Cowan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Cowan of Ridgetown, became the bride of Mr. William E. McDonald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herb McDonald. The attendants were Mrs. Robert Skakel of Turin, sister of the bride, and Mr. David McDonald, brother of the groom. The couple will reside in Ridgetown where the groom is employed in the local post office...

McDonald - At London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus, on Saturday, May 1, 1999, William E. McDonald, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Hazel F. (Cowan) McDonald. Dear father of Marilyn Kraushaar and her husband Eugene of Langton, Dr. John McDonald and his wife Susan of Arva and Robert McDonald and his wife Becky of Thamesford. Dear brother of Alma Branton of Ridgetown. Dear brother-in-law of Anna Cowan of Thamesford. Also loved by his 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9 PM Monday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel on Tuesday, May 4th at 1:30 PM with the Reverend Robert Ripley of Metropolitan United Church officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. The late Mr. McDonald was a 50 year member of Ashlar Lodge No. 610 A.F.&A.M., member of the Royal Arch Masons chapter No. 150 and Past Patron of Delhi Chapter O.E.S. No. 226.
