Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Kennedy and children returned to their home in Windsor after a week's vacation here.

Mrs. D. L. Kennedy - Ridgetown (Special) - Mrs. David L. Kennedy, clerk-treasurer of Ridgetown since 1957, the former Gladys C. McDonald died in the Public General Hospital, Chatham, yesterday after a brief illness.
She was born in Ridgetown in 1903, the daughter of the late Herbert McDonald, reeve of Ridgetown for several years, and the former Jemima Smith.
In 1923 she married David L. Kennedy of Main St. W., Ridgetown, and they lived in Windsor and Riverside until 1939.
In 1951 Mrs. Kennedy was appointed assistant clerk of the town and in 1957 became clerk-treasurer.
She was a member of Marsh Street Baptist Church, a member of Mecca Chapter, OES 58, and of the Philathea Class.
Surviving are, her husband,children Owen Kennedy of Halifax and Mrs. Willis G. (Ruth) Shultz of Chalk River, and eight grandchildren. There are two sisters, Mrs. T. R. Keys and Mrs. John Branton, both of Ridgetown, and brothers Charles McDonald, Southgate, Mich., David and William both of London.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. from the McKellar and McDonald Funeral Home, Ridgetown by Mr. Charles E. Burtch, minister of Marsh Street Church.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
