Nota individual

Emigrated to U.S.A. in 1867. Gravestone in Lone Tree Cemetery in Sioux
Rapids records her as Chrestina E. V. wife of P. T. Thorsley, aged 63
years. Her marriage is rcorded as Olsdatter and that has
created confusion in the records since her first child was born before
the marriage. I believe that Peder Svendsen had only this one wife since
it was she who accompanied him to America in 1867 and is recorded on a
gravestone at Sioux Rapids.
