W. M. Conlin Is Claimed By Paralysis
Thamesville, May 2 - William Martin Conlin, a highly esteemed resident of Zone township for the past eleven years passed away at his home on Saturday as a result of a stroke of paralysis suffered two weeks ago.
Mr conlin was the son of the late Terence Conlin and Isabelle Lowes and was born in Harwich township in 1862. In 1883 he went to Marine City where he remained until 1912. He then went to the Canadian West, settling at Elrose, Saskatchewan. Eleven years ago he came to Zone township where he has since resided.
Deceased is survived by his wife who was Miss Polly McDonald, one adopted daughter, Mrs. John Beecroft, and two sisters and a brother. Mrs. William Haynes and Mrs. Robert Recor of Detroit and Captain L. B. Conlin of Marine City, Mich.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 from his late home 4th Concession of Zone and will be conducted by Rev. R. C. Copeland of the United Church after which the funeral cortege will proceed to Marine City where interment will be made at Rosehill cemetery.
