The Fysh-Everitt Nuptials - On Wednesday afternoon, June 11th 1913, the residence of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Everitt was the scene of a very pretty wedding, when the marriage took place of Miss Maud Winifred Everitt to Mr. David N. Fysh. The rooms were prettily decorated with ferns, pine, and white carnations, the ceremony being conducted under a large bell trimmed with white roses. The Rev. S. W. Muxworthy was the officiating clergyman. The wedding march was played by Miss Mary Pickard, and Miss Pearl Sherwood sang before the ceremony "O Promise Me," and during the signing of the register Miss Muxworthy sang "A Perfect Day." The bride was given away by her father and wore a beautiful gown of white silk, with an overdress of Ninon and pearl trimmings, and a corsage bouquet of white rose buds and carried a Bible...A handsome pearl crescent was worn as the gift of the groom. The bridesmaid was Miss Mae Fysh, sister of the groom, who wore pink chiffon over pink silk, carried a shower bouquet of pink carnations. The best man was Mr. Alfred E. Stanton. Miss Rena Everitt acted as ring bearer. She was dressed in white and carried a basket of roses.
The groom's gift to the bridesmaid was a pearl brooch, to the pianist gold pin set with pearls, to the flower girl pearl ring.
