New - Willis. A pretty autumn wedding was solemnized at the home of the groom's parents, 616 Mabrury Avenue, Detroit, on Wednesday of last week, December 1st, when Miss Eva Pearl Willis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Willis, of Thamesville, became the bride of Mr. Albert New, Rev. A. A. Fruit, pastor of the Grand River Methodist church, officiated. The bride was assisted by Miss Cecelia New, sister of the groom, while the groom was supported by Mr. L. R. Story, mangare of the Detroit Banking Company. Immediately after the wedding a bountiful wedding dinner was served, after which the happy couple left on a short honeymoon trip to the home of the bride in Thamesville and other points. Among those present at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Elsworth and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Herzfeld, sisters of the bride.
