Mrs. McLaughlin of Ridgetown is spending a few weeks in town the guest of her sisters, Mrs. Wm. Pickard and Mrs. Herb Street.

Thamesville Herald, Thursday 1 April 1915
Silver Wedding - On Friday, March 26th, a most enjoyable evening was spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Street, when they entertained about forty of their relatives and friends, the occasion being the 25th anniversary of their marriage. A dainty wedding supper was served, the table decorations being American Beauty roses and ferns. The evening was spent in music and social chat. The bride and groom were presented with a beautiful leather couch from the relatives, and they were also the recipients of several other gifts. The presentations were made by Mrs. Purdon in a few well-chosen words. Mr. and Mrs. Street, who were completely taken by surprise, expressed their thanks. Goodnights were said and all went away feeling that Mr. and Mrs. Street were delightful hosts.
