Mrs. Frank Myers - Ella Dodds, daughter of Hugh and Margaret Dodds, was born September 5, 1850, and passed away in Lake Odessa, May 22, 1945, at the age of 86 years, eight months, and 18 days. She was united in marriage to Frank Myers, February 23, 1877, who preceded her in death May 24, 1937. To this union were born six children, of whom two died in infancy and Glenn was claimed by death five years ago. Those surviving are Hugh Myers of Hastings, Marie Barry of Woodland, Inez Gavit of Lake Odessa, 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, and one sister Hattie Walker of Lowell, Miles Dodds of Saranac and James Dodds of Florida, and a host of relatives and friends. She was a life member of the Rebekah lodge and a member of the Eastern Star. [The Lake Odessa Wave, Lake Odessa, MI, Thurs., May 31, 1945]
