Miss M. McDonald, Thamesville, Dies: Thamesville, April 9 -- Miss Mary Ann McDonald, for many years a highly respected resident of this village, passed away at Chatham on Sunday morning following a short illness.
Miss McDonald was 72 years of age and was born here a daughter of the late Anselum McDonald, who came to this country from Scotland, and Mary Anne Dodman. For many years she lived in the Canadian West but returned to the village fifteen years ago. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ethel Barnes of Courtwright, and three brothers, George F. and Samuel of Canadian West and William of Detroit. A brother Randall McDonald of Camden township predeceased her two years ago. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the John R. Smith Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. J. S. Lowden of the Baptist Church.
