A Happy Life is Crowned by Long Careers: Thamesville, Feb. 18 -- Mr. and Mrs. Randall McDonald of 21 Highway, Camden Township, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Monday, February 14th and had as their many guests their daughters, Mrs. Roy Huffman, Blenhiem, Mrs. John D. Stewart, Camden Township, Mrs. Lloyd Burke, Windsor and their son James on the homestead, also their ten grandchildren who gathered to wish them many more years of happiness together.
Mrs. Roy Cornell, a sister of Mrs. McDonald and Milton McKinley of Dresden were also present.
Mr. and Mrs. McDonald have lived in or near Thamesville all their lives, moving to their present home from the village twenty five years ago. Mrs. McDonald who before her marriage was Jane McKinley, was born on the farm where they now reside.

Randal McDonald of Thamesville Borne to His Rest: Thamesville, Sept. 6 -- Randall McDonald, highly esteemed farmer of Camden Township, passed away at his home, 21 Highway late Friday afternoon, death being due to a heart attack.
Mr. McDonald was born in Camdem Township just east of the village 75 years ago, a son of the late Alflem McDonald and Mary Anne Dodman.
Following his marriage to Jane McKinley the family lived for a number of years in the village moving to the farm on Highway No. 21, three miles north of the village, about twenty-five years ago.
On February 14th of this year Mr. and Mrs. McDonald celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding.
Deceased is survived by his widow, three daughters and one son, Mrs. Roy Huffman, Blenheim, Mrs. J. D. Stewart, Camden Township, Mrs. Lloyd Burke, Walkerville and James McDonald at home.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday afternoon by Rev. J. F. Londen, of the local Baptist church at his late home, and during the service the Baptist choir sang sacred numbers.
Interment was made in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Those who acted as pall bearers were Frank, Bert and Mac Cornell, Jack McEwen, Wilfred McKinley and Neil Knight.
