Funeral of Mrs. Daugherty - Funeral services for the late Mrs. Amos Daugherty who passed away at the home of her son Henry Daugherty were held on Monday afternoon at the home of her son. Rev. E. Stephens of the Baptist Church conducted the services and was assisted by Rev. C. C. Kaine of the Methodist Church. Interment was made in Sherman Cemetery.
The late Mrs. Daugherty was 75 years of age and is survived by her aged husband, two daughters and four sons. Mrs. Bowles, Florence, Mrs. N. Cryderman, Mich, John and Henry of the village, Auson of Camden and Joseph of Saskatchewan.
The pall bearers were Wm. M. Jackman, L. N. Hubbell, Barney Featherstone, John Stewart, John Howat and Jas. Wees.

Mrs. Amos Daugherty - The funeral of the late Susan Ann Tape, wife of Mr. Amos Daugherty, took place from the residence of her son, Mr. Henry Daugherty, corner of Victoria and Sherman Streets on Monday afternoon. Mrs. Daugherty was 75 years and 18 days of age and had been ill for a considerable time. She leaves to mourn her loss, four sons and two daughters, John, Henry and Ance of town, Joseph of Windsor, Mrs. P. Cryderman of Grand Lodge, Mich., and Mrs. W. Bowles of Trinidad; five grandchildren, Mrs. Albert Hughson, Charles and Dewey Dickson, Orville and Jack Daugherty, and one great-grandchild, Vern Dickson. Amoung those from a distance who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Cryderman of Grand Ledge, Mrs. Bowman of Detroit, Mrs. John Daugherty, Mrs. Nelson, Mrs. Gale, and Mr. and Mrs. Randie McDonald of Chatham.
