Short Illness Proves Fatal - David Kelly of Thamesville Passed Away Today
Thamesville March 18 - Death came this morning to David Kelly at his home on Anne Street following a two week illness with heart disease and pneumonia. He was in his 79th year.
Mr. Kelly had been a resident of Thamesville since he was fifteen years of age and was one of the village's best known residents. Just last October he and Mrs. Kelly observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary and at that time received the congradulations of their many friends. Besides his wife, who was Polly McDonald, He leaves three daughters; Mrs W. Stewart of Tillbury, Mrs Gordon Murray of Windsor, and Mrs Harry Kennedy of Haileybury, three sons; James and Orval of Chatham and Walter of Windsor, two sisters Mrs. Hannan and Mrs O'Conner of Bothwell and brother Ed Kelly of the river road of Harwich township.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9:30 at the Roman Catholic Church Thamesville, with Rev, Father McCarty officiating. Internment will be made at the Sherman Cemetery.
