The 1860 federal census, Kent Co, Lowell, MI, pg 221 (1824/1632) has a Rufus Hubbel, 26, male, personal estate $50, born Canada, cannot read/write, living with the family of Thomas (73 yr old farmer, b. Ireland) and Abigail (65, b. Canada) Cunningford (as well as Mary B. Long, 17, f, Domestic, b. Canada) Not sure if this is the same Rufus Hubbell, but believe it likely.
