Hinweis zur Person

Sigrid's name would be pronounced Sirie and is often recorded that
way.In 1789 she escaped from a flood that carried her home away and
saved her two small sons. It was midsummer, about the same time as the
Storming of the Bastille. In 1795 she and her husband moved far north to
the parish of Tranoy on Senja Island.
