Donald R. worked on the ranch of his uncle Herbert Brush in British Columbia, then owned a farm near Harrow, Ontario. He worked for the Canadain Postal Department for over thirty years. He also owned a sporting goods store in Harrow. Lilly was an R. N., first at Harper Hospital in Detroit and later in the office of Dr. Beeman in Kingsville, Ontario, Canada.
