Robert Martin and his wife were among the prominent old families of Colchester South and were members of the Church of England. They died at their home there, he Feb. 8, 1886, his wife in April, 1893...
     Mr. and Mrs. Martin were the parents of a large family of children: John, dying when a child. The others were as follows: (1) Thomas, the eldest, now a retired farmer of Harrow, now residing in Colchester, was married to Miss Caroline Woodbridge, of Gosfield, who died July 30, 1904, and by whom he has one daughter, Georgiana, now Mrs. Silas Brush, of Colchester...
