From the Brush book (above):
Benjamin and Delia were married at Woodbury, CT, the town of her birth. Benjamin took his bride to Canada, where he had been raised and where, at Raleigh Twp., he established a farm. She died at Harwich, Ont., and was buried in the Church of England Cem. in Aberdeen.
Benjamin served as a captain in the War of Rebellion in 1837 and was presented with a sword as a sign of special recognition. It is now owned by his great-granddaughter Elenor Victoria (Brush) Crewe.
