Hodgins, Margaret Elizabeth (Massie) - With great sadness the family of Margaret Elizabeth Hodgins (Massie) announces her passing on September 24, 2014 at Richmond Woods Retirement Residence in London. Margaret in her 94th year was the much loved wife of the late Norman W. Hodgins (2013) and mother of Marion (Jim) Healey of Brampton, Doug (Susan) Hodgins of Parkhill, Bonnie (George) Barton of Paris, and Phyllis (Clyde) Spencer of London. Margaret is survived by nine grandchildren; Dimitra (Bonés) Arruda, Reed Hodgins, Kristen (Trevor) Robak, Bradley (Sheila) Hodgins, Brieanne (Jamie) Doyle, Andrea (Andy Brown) Barton, Heather (Shawn) Grim, Greg (Stephanie) Spencer, Jenny Spencer, and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by sister Grace Sadler, brothers-in-law Wilfred Sadler, Phil and Gord Hodgins, and sister-in-law Artelle Parkinson. Margaret married Norman Hodgins in 1943, and they celebrated 70 years of marriage in October 2013. Visitation will be held at the M. Box and Son Funeral Home, 183 Broad Street in Parkhill on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 4-7pm. Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 2:00pm. Private interment at Nairn Cemetery with Dr. Rev. Brian McKenzie officiating. Memorial donations to the Thames Valley Children’s Centre or London Down Syndrome Association gratefully acknowledged.
