Obituary, from London Free Press:
PARKINSON, Mabel Almeda - On Monday, October 15th, 2012, Mabel Almeda Parkinson (née Elliott), in her 95th year, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Mabel was born in Lucan, Ontario on September 16th, 1918: third daughter of Anna and Arthur Elliott. Loved by son Ronald Stewart Parkinson and his wife Bonnie Louise Parkinson. Cherished by granddaughter Tascha Noel Parkinson, of Toronto, and by brother Norman Brooks, of London, Ontario. Predeceased by husband Ralph Parkinson (1989), and by sisters Olive Whiteford (1982) and Violet Norris (1954). The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, October 18th, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private family interment at a later date at St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye. Donations to the Library Fund of Stoney Creek Baptist in Mabel's memory would be greatly appreciated.
