Age 73, died Aug. 27, 1993 in Manistee, MI. She was born Aug. 8, 1920 in Columbus, OH. Former owner and operator of Avon Nursing Home in DeWitt for 27 years, retiring in 1982; and a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion Auxiliaries. Surviving are son Carl and Alice of Vestaburg; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson; 1 sister, Dorothy Walker of Lake Orion; also many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 1, 1 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Co., Williamston Chapel with the Rev. LaVerne Bretz, Paster Emeritus, Valley Farms Baptist Church, officiating. Interment in Spaulding Cemetery, Williamston, MI.
