In Memory of Jean Hodgins 1916 - 2007
HODGINS
With her daughters by her side, at The Village Retirement Home, Ridgetown, Jean Mary Hodgins on Monday, April 16, 2007. Predeceased by her husband Charlie in 1976. Jean was a longtime member of the Wingham United Church and sang alto in the church choir for over 50 years. She was a supply teacher at Wingham Public School from 1951 to 1968. Jean was an avid bridge player who loved to entertain friends and family with home baked treats. As the matriarch of her family, she relished sharing family history and tales of her teaching days at Kinlough.
Lovingly remembered by her daughters Ruth Alexander and her husband Jim of London and Kate Lougheed and her husband Mac of Rodney; grandchildren David Alexander, Susan Alexander (Dennis Jackson), Kristen Parise (Gianni), Steve Lougheed; great grandchildren Aidan and Xander. Survived by her brother Gordon Anderson and his wife Madeline of Clinton; sister-in-law Mary Hodgins of St. Marys and many nieces and nephews...
