Violet Bertha GRANT
GRANT, Violet Bertha - Peacefully, at the Southampton Care Centre on Thursday, April 1st, 2010, in her 94th year, Violet Grant, formerly of Ebenezer and Paisley. Wife of the late Murray Grant. Mother of Douglas and his wife Carol, Kenneth and his wife Virginia, and Garry and his wife Judy. Granny of Christina, Peter, Angela, Mary, Natasha, Heather, and Robert. Great-Granny of seven. She is predeceased by her son Fredrick, brother Fredrick Hawkins, and by her sister Iola Archer. A memorial service will be held in the Knox United Church, 399 Goldie St., Paisley, on Monday, April 12th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Judy Zarubick officiating. Visitation will take place in the church one hour prior to the memorial service. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin. Arrangements in the care of the W. KENT MILROY Paisley Chapel, 519-353-5133. Memorial contributions to the Paisley Pastoral Charge U.C. (Knox United Church) would be appreciated by the family.
