At McGarrell Place, London on Sunday, October 1, 2006 Merna Irene (Hodgins) O’Neil formerly of Lucan in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph O’Neil (1967). Dear mother of Don and Phyllis O’Neil of Lucan, Keith and Barb O’Neil and Lois Van Geel all of London, Marlene and Paul Laverdure of Cambridge and Margaret and Greg Meyers of Tillsonburg. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Harold Hodgins of Middlesex Centre and Ilene and Leeland Desjardine of Exeter. Predeceased by a son-in-law Carl Van Geel (1982) and a sister-in-law Esther Hodgins (1999). Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 4th at 1:30 PM with Rev. Sue McCullough officiating. Interment Birr Anglican Cemetery. Donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Lucan would be appreciated by the family.
