The Hodgins book lists a son Edward between Hattie and Mabel, but the 1881 census has Charles and the 1891 census Charles E. So I am assuming he is Charles Edward.

Clearly a number of related Hodgins and Wilsons went to Woodworth (near Brandon), Manitoba, in the late 1890's. In the 1901 census, right next to Thomas and Mary Hodgins live Richard Hodgins (half-brother to Thomas) and Charles Hodgins. If this is the right Charles, he is only distantly related but his family moved to Huron Twp, Bruce Co., so he lived in the same area, and by 1906 his entire family, including him, was in Winnipeg.
