Owned and farmed lot 32, Con. 1 and lots 29, 30, 32, Con. 3. in Biddulph Twp. Served as school trustee, Biddulph Twp councillor and Reeve, Warden of Middlesex Co., represented Biddulph on the Auxsauble-Bayfield Conservation Authority and was a member of the fire board for the Lucan-Biddulph area. Also Warden of Holy Trinity Anglican Church.

At London Health Sciences Centre University Campus on Sunday, November 24, 2002 Wilson A. Hodgins of the Township of Lucan Biddulph in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Minnie Hodgins (2000). Dear father of the late Ronald Hodgins (1974). Dear brother of Eric Hodgins of Lucan. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Bob, Beverly, John and David Taylor. Predeceased by brothers Alfred, Evan, Reginald, Oscar, Arnold and Franklin and sisters Ethel, Mabel and Olive. Evan. Wilson farmed in Biddulph Township all of his life and was Middlesex County Warden in 1971 and Reeve of Biddulph Township for 21 years. Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Main Street, Lucan on Wednesday, November 27th at 2PM with Rev. Bruce Pocock officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye. Donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or the Canadian Diabetes Associaton would be appreciated by the family.
