Dixon, P. Irene (Thompson) - Peacefully at Sprucedale Care Centre in Strathroy on Saturday, March 14, 2015, P. Irene Dixon (Thompson) of Parkhill in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late John A. Dixon (1983). Loving mother of Edgar & Glenda, Stanley & Carol Ann, Ivan & Bonnie, David & Ann, Glenn & Wendy, and Heather Dixon. Cherished grandmother Michael (Helen), Mark (Shawna), John (Joanne), Bryan (Rebecca), Paul (Lorraine), Ron (Michelle), Janice (Paul), Alan, Jennine (Greg), Warren (Melissa), Robb (Allison), Brad (Carley), and loving great grandmother of many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Jean Hutchinson. Predeceased by brothers Lloyd (Louisa) and W. Stanley Thompson, sister Ettie Nickles (Art), and brother-in-law Jack Hutchinson. Resting at the M. Box Funeral Home, 183 Broad in Parkhill for visitation on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 5-8pm. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 1:00pm. Interment at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Karen Nelles officiating. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation gratefully acknowledged.
