HODGINS: (Grose) Audrey May of Lucan
Passed away peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Thursday, January 30, 2014 of Lucan and formerly of Whalen Corners in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Hamilton W. Hodgins (2011) for 68 years. Dear mother of Berton Hodgins of Lucan and Sharon and Fred Mardlin of Denfield. Dear grandmother of Louise and John Broeders of Bryanston, Lynn Mardlin of Exeter and Lisa and Dave Vandewalle of Dublin. Dear great-grandmother of Adam, Nicholas, Emily, Adrianna, and Cole; Tess; and Jeromy. Dear sister of Phyllis and Don O’Neil and sister-in-law of Gwen Grose, Gloria Hodgins and friend Andy Van Geel all of Lucan, and Vincent Hodgins and Genevieve Worrall both of Denfield. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her infant son Earl, brothers Calvin and Charlie Grose, sister Kathleen Grose and brothers and sisters-in-law Marjorie Grose, Austin and Dolly Hodgins, Lawrence Hodgins, Lyle Worrall, and Lillian Hodgins.
Friends and family may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd at 11AM with Rev. Ruth Ferrier officiating. Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.
Donations to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church or the Ailsa Craig and Area Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.

GROSE - Suddenly, in Lucan, on Wednesday, October 8, 1975, Hilson Langford (Ford) Grose in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late May Hodgins, dear father of Calvin of Glanworth, Audrey (Mrs. Hamilton Hodgins), Phyllis (Mrs. Don O'Neil), both of Lucan. Deceased Kathleen and Charles. Survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Resting at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, Lucan, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10 at 2:00 PM, with Rev. E. Madden of Lucan United Church officiating. Interment in Birr United Church Cemetery. A Masonic service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday evening at 7:30 PM under the auspices of Middlesex Lodge No. 379 A.F. & A.M. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation would be appreciated.
