SHAW, Helen “Maxine”
Passed away peacefully on Saturday February 13, 2010 at Milton District Hospital in her 88th year. Maxine, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Shaw, is survived by her loving children, Jim (Kathy) Shaw of Milton, Bill Shaw (Sage Neufeld) of Etobicoke, Linda Bird of Waterloo and her cherished grandchildren, Jill (Devin Scarrow), Bryan, Mark (Michelle Langdon), Craig, Blair, Jason and Lindsay. She is also survived by a niece Valerie Ansdell and nephew Geoff Tupling. The family will receive friends on Saturday February 20, 2010 at the J. SCOTT EARLY FUNERAL HOME, 21 James Street, Milton (905) 878-2669 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at which time a memorial service celebrating Maxine’s life will take place with Reverend John Benham of St. Paul’s United Church presiding. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at St. James Cemetery, Lucan, Ontario at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.
