Living in Regina in 1901 and 1911. The Biddulph book says he "was involved in the formation of the Winnipeg Grain Exchange and was an elected member of the Manitoba Legislature". However, up until 1921, when he was 52 he was still in Regina, a department store manager. There was a John Bole who was a member of the Manitoba legislature for Winnipeg and perhaps the two have been confused.
