McCormick - Well Known Doctor Dies. Dr. T. A. McCormick Succumbs at 82.
Dr. Thomas Arnold McCormick, M.D., C.M., widely known in Essex County medical circles, died late Saturday at his residence, 2032 Willistead Crescent, following a brief illness. He was 82.

     Surviving is his wife, Edith (nee Woodbridge); one son, Dr. Norman Arnold McCormick, of Windsor, and a grand-daughter, Elizabeth Joan McCormick, of Windsor... Burial will be in Windsor Grove Cemetery.

Beloved mother of Dr. Norman A. McCormick, M.D., Riverside. Dear grandmother of Elizabeth Joan McCormick, Toronto. Private funeral service in the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte St. E. at Devonshire Rd., Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 2 p.m., Rev. Canon F. C. McRitchie officiating. Interment in Windsor Grove Cemetery. In kindness, in lieu of flowers you may send your gifts to the Canadian Cancer Society.

     (III) Matthew W. McCormick was born on the Col. Brush place, Colchester South, Oct. 1, 1830, and was about sixteen years of age when the family moved to Lot 7, in the Gore....In time he came into possession of the 200 acres...
     On Jan. 29, 1854, Mr. McCormick was married to Elizabeth Jane Taylor, who was born in New Brunswick, March 8, 1836, daughter of Steven and Jane Taylor....
     Thomas Arnold McCormick, son of Matthew W. McCormick, was born on the homestead place in Colchester South, three-quarters of a mile from Harrow, one of the most beautiful farms of that especially favored section. He received a common and high school education, and for five years engaged in teaching in the County of Essex. Determining to enter professional life, he matriculated in the medical department of Trinity College, Toronto, from which he was graduated in 1897, immediately thereafter locating at Wheatley, for the general practice of his calling.
     Dr. McCormick married Edith Woodbridge, daughter of the late William Woodbridge, of Colchester South, and they have one son, Norman Arnold, born June 14, 1901.
