Obituary, Leamington Post, 2 October 1913:
The death occurred in Cleveland, Ohio, on Tuesday, Sept. 30, of Mrs. J. D. Wilkinson. The remains will be brought here for interment on Saturday, and will take place from the residence of Mr. Wilkinson's father, Peter Wilkinson corner of Marlboro and Erie streets.

Obituary, Leamington Post, 22 March 1917:
J. D. Wilkinson - The late J. D. Wilkinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wilkinson, Erie street south, passed away at Harper Hospital, Detroit, about midnight last Thursday. He was a sufferer from chronic diabetes and no hope was held out for his recovery when he entered the hospital. Friday evening the remains were brought to the home of his parents from which place the funeral, which was under Masonic auspices, took place Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The religious service was conducted by Rev. Rural Dean Kinder, assisted by Rev. D. D. Burtch. The Masons, to the number of nearly one hundred, headed by the Citizens' Band, followed the remains to Lakeview cemetery where they performed their sad last rites for a departed brother. The floral offerings were both numerous and beautiful. Deceased was 45 years of age, and is survived by his parents and one brother, Fred Wilkinson, Erie street south.
