On Jan. 29, 1854, Mr. McCormick was married to Elizabeth Jane Taylor, who was born in New Brunswick, March 8, 1836, daughter of Steven and Jane Taylor. Their chidren were: ... Klie, Dec. 28, 1892, daughter of the late Henry Klie, of Colchester South, and has two children, William Klie and Marie...

W. A. McCormick Town Clerk for 19 Years, Dies - Retired From Public Office in 1937. W. A. McCormick for 19 years clerk of the Town of Amherstburg and former warden of the County of Essex, died in Metropolitan Hospital last Friday. He was 78 years old. He had been seriously ill for a couple of weeks.
The late Mr. McCormick was born in Colchester South in 1866. His parents were the late Matthew W. McCormick and the former Elizabeth Taylor. When he grew up he began clerking in the H. W. Allan general store in Harrow and later transferred to the Essex store of the same company. It was while in Essex that he was married to Annie R. Klie. Mrs. McCormick died some years ago...
He is survived by a daughter Mrs. Marie Aikman of Amherstburg and a son, Dr. W. Klie McCormick of Windsor. He also leaves two brothers and a sister, Dr. T. McCormick and J. A. McCormick of Windsor and Mrs. Eliza Snider of Colchester South.
