CLAUDE SHEPLEY KILLED.
... Mr. Shepley is well known throughout South Essex. He was married in the summer of 1898 to a widow of the late Steven Shepley, nee Miss Maggie Drummond, daughter of Joseph Drummond, Clerk of Colchester South Township. They had no children. By her first marriage she had two children Joseph Drummond Shepley, and Earl Shepley. Mr. Shepley farmed in Malden in the Shepley farm opposite Thos. Hood's, some five years, leaving that in the fall of 1898, when bought grain and hogs for Geo. Rose, Harrow. He removed to Leamington in the summer of 1899. He is a member of Harrow Lodge No. 309, I.O.O.F. The funeral will be held to Erie Cemetery this (Friday) morning, the body being brought on the morning train from Leamington.
