James Reycraft was farmer of Orford township who retired to Highgate Ontario. In 1855 he married Phillicia Shannon, and they reared a most creditable family, the survivors all being prominent citizens. The children were:- Ellen, George F, Sarah J, Albert J, Ellen M, Ernest, J William, Joseph, Phillis, and E Blanche. James's wife Phillicia (Shannon) Reycraft was a daughter of Richard and Sarah (Lee) Shannon, both of County Cork Ireland...
