Rebecca Stover
"Mrs. John Stover Dies Today In Home - Mrs. Rebecca Ramsey Stover, 72, widow of Capt. John Stover and resident of Port Huron 45 years, died today in her home, 1014 Ward street, after a long illness. She was a member of Port Huron chapter, No. 170. O. E. S., and of the White Shrine. She was an alumna of Valparaiso college, Valparaiso, Ind. Mrs. Stover is survived by two sons, Frank Stover, Detroit, and J. J. Stover, Port Huron; and a brother, William Ramsey, Pinconning, Mich. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in the family residence. Rev. A. E. DuPlan, pastor of Grace Episcopal church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery."

"Late J. J. Stover - Passenger Ship Captain 25 Years - Captain John J. Stover, 73, ..., died at his home, 1014 Ward Street, Sunday morning. Captain Stover was born in St. Clair. At the time of his birth his father, John Stover, was serving as sheriff of St. Clair county, St. Clair at that time being the county seat... He leaves his widow Rebecca Stover, and two sons, Frank B. Stover, Detroit and John J. Stover, this city."
