Death Notice from Methodist Paper:
Dolson, Mrs. Mary (Martha) (nee Shepley), daughter of John and Hannah Shepley and wife of Rev. James Dolsen, was born in Harwich Township Mar 25 1795 and was buried Sept 3 1856; survived by her husband and 6 children, all of whom are grown to years of maturity.

Notes from Belden's Atlas:
On the border of Harwich, James Dolson was the first to settle, 1816-his claim being subsequently transferred to Cedar Springs where he opened a store. In 1881, his records show customers James Shepley, John shepley, Joseph Shepley & Michael Shepley.
