The oldest son, Thomas S. Moorhouse (1832-1912), remained on the farm at Lot 24, Con. 1. He married Emily Delve Drew in 1864 and had a family of 15 children...Several of these children died within six days of each other from diptheria..

Again, the eldest son took over the farm. Egerton John married Theodosa (Theda) DeMille (1870-1929) and they raised 10 children: Jennie, Nellie, Minnie, Pearl, Stafford, Clarence, Harold, Emerson, James, Theodosa and Ethel.
Jennie (1892-1917) married Alfred May. Nellie (1893) married Herbert Lectern in 1916 and in 1944, married Matthew Bach. Stafford married Margaret Campbell in 1932. Clarence (1899) married Belle Ferguson in 1932. Harold (1902) married Edna May Johnston. James "Ossie" (1906) married first Beatrice Hale and secondly Fern Watson. Theodosa (1908-1908) died in infancy. Ethel (1910) married George Williams.
Once more the eldest son, Stafford (1897-1984), remained on the homestead at Lot 24, Con. 1. Stafford married Margaret Campbell and they had two sons, Kenneth (who died young) and Raymond...
