In June, 1862, he married Amanda Stover, the estimable daughter of Reuben and Sarah (Delaney) Stover... Of the ten children born to Mr. and Mrs. Scane four are living... (4) Leroy was born in January, 1878, and was educated in the Ridgetown schools, and is a machinist by trade. He is unmarried.
