Charles C. Scane, son of John and Elizabeth Scane... purchased a farm in the 8th Concession of Howard township and there he followed farming for twelve years. In June, 1862, he married Amanda Stover, the estimable daughter of Reuben and Sarah (Delaney) Stover... Of the ten children born to Mr. and Mrs. Scane four are living... (2) Dora, born May 5, 1865, is the wife of Thomas Buller, a leading lumberman, and they have three children, Ina, Glen and Edna...
